Taylor Swift is set to spend the Thanksgiving holiday in Brazil.
The singer had been considering a variety of plans until she settled on staying in South America. Dealing with postponed shows earlier this week, having to get to a show in São Paulo on Friday, as well as dealing with the death of a fan at a recent concert, the singer apparently felt that travel to the US for a few days would be too much.
A source for “Page Six” shares that Swift is “devastated about a fan dying” and that the experience has been “traumatic” for her. Swift herself has previously shared on social media that she is “overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it.”
But the singer has reportedly been able to lean on her boyfriend Travis Kelce during this time. “He’s been a huge support system for her right now. Her family has been there, but it’s different to have a boyfriend to lean on,” a source for “US Weekly” shares. The source also shares that Swift's team has reached out to the fan's family during this time.
