When a bride in California had to cancel her wedding, she decided to donate her $15,000 reception to Parents Helping Parents (PHP), a nonprofit that supports families with children with disabilities and had previously helped her own family.
Surprised by the generous offer, PHP quickly organized the event at the Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Gilroy, which featured dinner, dessert, a DJ, a photo booth, and fireworks.
