Dave Grohl uses his days off from the Foo Fighters to help others.

On Friday, the singer worked with Melbourne-based charity, The Big Umbrella Foundation, to serve 430 meals to the homeless.

The organization took to Instagram to share that Grohl worked with two Australian chefs for 18 hours to prepare over 260 pounds of pork ribs and beef brisket.

They added that no words can fully capture the impact of this positive experience.

In February, Grohl assembled meals for the Los Angeles-based organization Hope of the Valley and Feed the Streets L.A.
