Small dogs, often referred to as “littles,” see the world through a very large lens. The house is a mansion, the backyard is a football field, and their beloved owner is a giant. Big things are often scary. Like all dogs, these “littles” grow confidence when treated kindly, handled with respect, and trained properly. A well-adjusted dog has a calm mind and will live a mentally balanced life. It makes for a rewarding existence for the pet and for its owner, too.
Let’s profile Odie first: Odie, and his brother Carlos, lost their owner suddenly. Sequestered in a house for their first 2 years of life, neither of these young boys have experienced the outside world and new people can be concerning. Giving them time to decompress, and respecting their past, we have seen these Chihuahuas come alive. Odie follows Carlos’ lead and wants to be where he is. Carlos loves his buddy Odie but has no problem letting him know he’s in control. These “littles” are fun, and funny.
We hope to see these boys in a home together; however, we know that may be asking a lot as not everybody can adopt two dogs at one time. Separate, or together, we’ve assured them that their forever home is out there and they can expect endless love for the rest of their days.
Looking for a “little?” Look no further. Odie may just be your guy. You may want to meet Carlos, too. We have some great little boys for you! Don’t delay … schedule your meeting and greet today!
