A Minnesota woman went to the dentist and what happened to her sounds like it’s straight out of “Little Shop of Horrors.”
Kathleen Wilson didn’t expect to get eight dental crowns, four root canals, and 20 fillings in a five-and-a-half-hour span back in July 2020 and now she’s suing.
Several dentists had to fix what the dentist did since it left Wilson in pain and disfigured.
The suit also claims that the dentist overused anesthesia and faked her medical records to avoid liability.
An expert hired by Wilson says it’s true that every tooth in her mouth had decay, but the way the accused dentist went about treatment was the problem.
The filing notes that Wilson was given double the maximum allowed anesthesia during the visit.
She’s suing for $50,000.
