In a Christmas miracle, a police dog in Finland found a missing elementary school-age child alive in the snow on Christmas Eve.
According to Finland’s Police Dog Association, the child had gone missing around 7:00 p.m. on December 23rd, as the snow was falling heavily, covering their tracks.
Kuha, the Inner Finland Police Department’s dog, was brought in to help locate the child and it didn’t take long for her to track the kid with her keen sense of smell. Around 12:30 a.m. on Christmas Eve, Kuha found the child buried under three feet of snow.
The child was responsive after receiving medical attention and the police dog is being called a hero for the amazing rescue.
