Not all records need to be broken.
66-year-old Roy Heide achieved a historic mark recently when he was convicted of his 21st charge of impaired driving.
It’s believed to be the most convictions for the crime against a person in the history of Canada.
After trying to flee the scene while his motorcycle passenger was being treated for injuries, Heide was arrested after he reportedly blew more than twice the legal limit on a breathalyzer.
He pleaded guilty to impaired driving, driving while disqualified, and driving while prohibited, and was sentenced to four years and 254 days in jail.
Some people never learn.
