Victor Poupart, a sophomore at North Brunswick Township High School, suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and was revived by school staffers using CPR and an AED.
After being diagnosed with a genetic heart condition, receiving an implantable defibrillator, and recovering for a few weeks, he returned to school this week.
Victor and his family expressed their immense gratitude for the school staffers’ life-saving actions and the school district honored them at a recent Board of Education meeting.
