Marine Vet Gets New Service Dog With Nonprofit’s Help

Adam Griffin, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with 12 years of service and two combat tours, received a new service dog named Apollo from the Utah nonprofit Labs for Liberty, filling a void in his life after military retirement.

Griffin and his family traveled from Florida to Utah to meet Apollo, who had undergone extensive training from Labs for Liberty before being matched with his new owner.

After less than a day together, Apollo was already proving helpful to Griffin, who expressed his gratitude to Labs for Liberty for their role in helping veterans like himself.
