A Boy Scout troop in Erie, Pennsylvania, made a significant donation of over $10,000 worth of popcorn to their local Veterans Hospital.

The act of generosity was part of their annual popcorn fundraiser, which allows customers to donate to military organizations, and the size of the donation was made possible through a collaboration between multiple Boy Scout councils.

The popcorn fundraiser takes place from August to October each year with around 70% of the proceeds going to support local families and scouting staff.
