You can’t drive “distracted” in a McDonald’s drive-thru lane.

A Saskatoon, Canada driver was using his McDonald’s app while in the drive-thru so he could get the free lunch he earned through rewards.

A motorcycle cop was behind the teen and as the man inched up the officer walked up to his car window and fined him for using his phone while driving.

The teen was in a catch-22: he needed to pull up the app, but he was driving.

The ticket cost the guy $580, but lawyers say since it was a private drive-thru, the ticket shouldn’t have been given.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police aren’t commenting.
