Steve From “Blues Clues” Encourages Grads With Show’s Song In Speech

The original host of the beloved children's show "Blue's Clues," Steve Burns, delivered an inspiring commencement speech at SUNY Delhi on May 18th. Addressing around 800 graduates, Burns shared wisdom and nostalgic references that resonated with the audience. Reflecting on his role as Steve, he expressed gratitude for the viewers' participation, saying, "I never would have found any of those clues without you."

Burns emphasized the enduring impact of "Blue's Clues" and shared a piece of advice from the show's Paw Prints song: "If you use your mind and take a step at a time, you can do anything that you wanna do." He described this phrase as a reminder of the importance of hard work and having a dream.

The university shared highlights from the speech on social media, celebrating his motivational message to the graduates. Burns encouraged the graduates to be proud of their achievements and to stay open to unexpected opportunities.
