On Sunday, a kite surfer stranded on a California beach was rescued after spelling out "HELP" with rocks, leading to him being spotted by a private helicopter.
CAL Fire responded to the call, lowering a first responder from a helicopter down to the kite surfer and then safely lifting him to the top of the cliff.
Video of the rescue was shared on social media by CAL Fire and the unidentified kite surfer didn’t require medical attention.
