91-Year-Old Woman Stands At Intersection Every Morning With Be Kind Sign

A 91-year-old woman in Framingham, Massachusetts, known as “Sunny the Sign Holder,” has been standing at a busy intersection with a sign reading "Say no to racism. Be kind. Justice for all." nearly every day for the past six years.

Despite her age and physical limitations, she starts her day early, arriving at the intersection by 7:30 a.m., and says she feels rewarded by the numerous positive reactions she receives.

Although not everyone responds positively to her sign, Sunny remains dedicated to her mission, spreading a message of kindness and unity.
