Ohio Community Donates Lawn Equipment To Teen After His Was Stolen

Tre’Shawn Pittard, a 13-year-old entrepreneur from Toledo, Ohio, recently faced a setback when his lawnmower was stolen, leaving him unable to continue his lawncare business. He started his business at the age of 11 and had grown his collection of equipment over the years, but after the theft, he was left without a working mower. His mother says that requests for his services were still coming in, but Tre’Shawn couldn’t fulfill them without a mower.

After a local news station reported the incident, the community quickly stepped in to help. Generous donors provided the teen with two lawnmowers and local hardware store owner Mike Bassett gifted him a new leaf blower, rake, and emergency funds. Tre’Shawn and his siblings plan to resume mowing lawns soon, with the young go-getter even offering a $20 bonus to the sibling who cuts the most grass.
