Mali Edge, a 14-year-old from Colwyn Bay, Wales, has been battling a brain tumor and was thrilled when a charity organization donated Taylor Swift concert tickets to her as she was finishing radiation treatment. But one week before the concert, event organizers unexpectedly withdrew the tickets. Devastated, Mali’s family turned to social media looking for help and the post quickly went viral, racking up over 7 million views.

A pair of strangers from nearby Liverpool saw Mali’s story and reached out to the family wanting to help. Fellow Swiftie Ella offered up her own tickets to Mali and Paul Smith, a former pro boxer who was featured on season three of the boxing reality show “The Contender,” upgraded Mali to VIP box seats for the concert at Anfield Stadium.

Mali's family expressed immense gratitude for the generosity, calling it "extraordinary" and saying the support from the community has turned a disappointing situation into a wonderful one. After the concert, Mali has to return to the hospital for chemotherapy, but she’ll be going back having had her spirits lifted by the kindness of strangers.
