Joe Alwyn has finally spoken about the end of his relationship with Taylor Swift.

As a reminder, Joe and Taylor dated for roughly six years starting back in 2016. Sitting down for an interview with “The Sunday Times Style Magazine,” Joe reflected on how he and Taylor worked to keep their relationship relatively private…and all the attention it's gotten since they broke up.

“There is always going to be a gap between what is known and what is said,” Joe shares. “I have made my peace with that.” The actor also didn’t confirm or deny if he had listened to Swift’s newest album, “The Tortured Poets Society.” Some Swifities think she reflects on their relationship in the songs “The Black Dog” and “So Long, London.”

“I would hope that anyone and everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship,” Joe says. He also shared it's been somewhat…weird…dealing with all the attention after staying private so long. “What is unusual and abnormal in this situation is that, one week later, it’s suddenly in the public domain and the outside world is able to weigh in.”
