Bonnie and Daniel Greco of Lake Grove, Long Island, are set to celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary after a near-fatal incident earlier this year.
Daniel, 83, suffered a severe cardiac event at an ATM in Melville but was quickly assisted by nurse practitioners who performed CPR and used an AED to revive him.
Doctors at Plainview Hospital later performed heart surgery, discovering several blockages, and credit the early intervention for saving his life.
