Psychic Miss Cleo Gets Her Own Biopic

In the 90s and early 2000s, "Miss Cleo" was inescapable on cable television.

The Jamaican psychic, who was not Jamaican and probably not a psychic, was the face of the "Psychic Readers Network," and as such made millions through her infomercials, before the Federal Trade Commission put her and the network in their crosshairs.

"Miss Cleo" passed in 2016, and her story will now be told in a new biopic.

"Miss Cleo: Her Rise and Fall" stars Robin Allen as the telemarketer turned celebrity whose rapid success was followed by a fall that was just as rapid.

The biopic premieres August 10 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
