Richard Simmons’ staff has shared what his final social media post would have been, before his recent death. “Richard worked very hard on his posts for you. He had many ideas and would work ahead…going back to each one making changes until he had it just like he wanted before posting,” his staff shared.
The final photo from Simmons saw him dressed up in astronaut gear…and included a heartfelt message. “Let me fly you to the moon so we can gaze among the stars. Love, Richard,” the caption reads.
Simmons was laid to rest on Friday in Los Angeles in a private funeral. The fitness guru had fallen during his birthday weekend nearly a week prior and passed away at 76 years old.
