Florida Sheriff Warns Against Snapping Pics With Depressed Bear

A Florida sheriff has to remind residents not to try and take selfies with bears.

There was a “depressed” bear sitting along Highway 98 in Walton County and people were stopping to take pics with the bear.

While the bruin looked cute, the sheriff posted to Facebook "He's clearly not in the mood for pictures.

The bear has shown signs of severe stress.” They added that a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission biologist responded to the scene, but the bear wandered back into the woods on its own.

The post wrapped with the reminder "PLEASE DO NOT APPROACH black bears at any time. Especially those that are showing aggression like this big fella."
