Owl Charged With Ring Bearer Duties Takes Off For Seven Hours

In Leeds, England, an owl was supposed to deliver the rings during a wedding ceremony.

Nature, however, tends to do whatever it wants, and that owl clearly had other plans.

The wedding, scheduled at 1:00 pm, was to feature the winged ring delivery during the ceremony.

Instead, the owl…along with the wedding bands…decided to take flight and perch itself at the top of the Abbey where the wedding was being held.

Seven hours later, the owl finally decided to come down, and the wedding went on…better late than never.
