ATL Rapper Gunna Launches Guaranteed Income Program For 30 GA Families

Atlanta rapper Gunna, in collaboration with the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC), has announced the Gunna x BMAC 30349 Guaranteed Income Program. The initiative will provide $1,000 per month for a year to 30 deserving families in the 30349 zip code of South Fulton, Georgia. The program is part of a $500,000 effort aimed at improving financial stability and the quality of life for residents in the community.

South Fulton mayor Khalid Kamau expressed his support for the initiative, calling it a transformative step toward addressing economic disparities in the area. He says that the program is not only an investment in the city's future but also a powerful example of collaboration and innovation in tackling economic challenges. The initiative is part of Gunna's broader commitment to his hometown, which includes other community-focused projects like Gunna’s Drip Closet and the Goodr Grocery Store.

Gunna says that his goal is to uplift his hometown by providing resources that can make a real difference. He sees the Guaranteed Income Program as an important step toward improving the economic landscape of South Fulton. The program is now taking applications from families who want to participate and is set to officially launch on September 18th.
