Madison Beer recently made a big impact on a small business during her tour stop in Singapore. While in town, the 25-year-old Long Islander visited a local nail salon called Edens' Atelier Co. and met Hazel Wah, the 21-year-old proprietor. While doing Beer’s nails, she shared how she’d been struggling following her business partner’s abrupt departure, which forced her to downsize and fight to keep her dream alive.
During their conversation, Wah said how thankful she was for Beer’s visit, mentioning how it had given the business some much-needed exposure on social media. Touched by her story and perseverance, Beer decided to take an extraordinary step to help the struggling business. She transferred over $2,600 to help cover their rent for the month and sent a supportive message thanking Wah.
Overwhelmed by the generous act of kindness, Wah returned to social media to thank Beer, acknowledging how close she was to giving up before everything started to turn around. She credits her family, friends, fiancé, and Beer for helping her keep her dream alive during challenging times.
