A homeless man busking in Liverpool, England is now viral thanks to a guy who stopped to record him.
John Metcalfe was filmed by Stephen Flynn singing Dire Straits’ “Sultans of Swing” and playing acoustic guitar on August 20th.
Flynn shared the video on TikTok and now there are over 11 million views and counting.
A GoFundMe was also started for Metcalfe, who lives in his car with his girlfriend, and it’s generated over seven thousand dollars.
Metcalfe tells “People,” "It's totally restored my faith in human nature. Even after all that's happened to me, having my life stolen from me, it's just restored my faith."
Flynn shares that he just wants to see Metcalfe "have a happy life because of the stuff he's been through."
