A man who bought Taylor Swift's autographed guitar for $3,200 at an auction went viral after smashing it with a hammer.
The incident occurred at the Ellis County Wild Game Dinner near Dallas, Texas. Footage shows the white-haired man laughing as he destroys the instrument, even pretending to raise it over his head before the host intervenes.
The guitar, donated to support agricultural education for local youth, was autographed by Swift and had no connection to her recent political endorsement of Kamala Harris.
Despite the controversy, the funds raised went to a good cause.
