A French bulldog named Dallas in Seattle is being hailed a hero for helping to save a child’s life while out for a walk. Earlier this year, Dallas suffered paralysis due to a degenerative disc disease, but after successful spinal surgery, she’s been on a slow path to recovery. During a recent walk, the pup led her owner, Lori Pacchiano, in a new direction and then stopped abruptly, staring at a toddler in the path of a car backing down a driveway.

Pacchiano quickly realized what Dallas was staring at and shouted to a nearby adult to save the child from the car. Fortunately, the adult managed to grab the toddler just in time. The entire incident was captured on video and later shared by Pacchiano on social media, where it racked up millions of views and praise from viewers for both Dallas and her owner’s quick actions.

Reflecting on the event, Pacchiano describes it as a "divine blessing," and feels as though everything aligned for them to be in the right place at the right time. She shared how much she loves Dallas and how special the pup is to her.
