John Stamos shared a photo on Instagram supporting his "Full House" co-star Dave Coulier, who is battling stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. In the photo, Stamos is wearing a bald cap to show solidarity with his friend. "It’s inspiring. I know you’re going to get through this, and I’m proud to stand with you every step of the way,” Stamos shared.
Some fans criticized Stamos for wearing a bald cap instead of shaving his head, with one commenter calling it "a shallow gesture" and another finding it "insulting." In response, Coulier defended Stamos, sharing, "It’s our friendship…and this is how we’re handling a very tough time. Humor is what drives me”
Despite the backlash, Coulier remains focused on spreading awareness about early cancer detection and maintaining a positive attitude, adding, "I’m still going to laugh in the face of adversity." Stamos has not reacted to the negative comments.
