A bull terrier rescued from chest-deep water during Hurricane Milton has found a loving forever home.
In October, the dog named Trooper was found tied to a fence as floodwaters were rising and was saved by a Florida Highway Patrol officer.
After the pup’s story was featured in the news, hundreds of adoption requests came pouring in for him.
Ultimately, it was Carla and Frank Spina of Parkland, Florida, who ended up adopting the loveable five-year-old.
The Spinas have decades of experience caring for bull terriers and proved to be a perfect match despite their initial concerns about Trooper’s trauma.
He’s now thriving in his new home.
