Olivia Rodrigo is donating more than $2 million from her recent “Guts World Tour” proceeds to charities supporting the health and equity of women and girls around the world. Yesterday she announced the donation will benefit 10 organizations focused on education, reproductive rights, and preventing gender-based violence, including groups like the National Network of Abortion Funds in the U.S., Women’s Shelters Canada, and Jhpiego in the Philippines.
The “Guts World Tour” began in February and took Rodrigo through the regions where each organization operates, including a special stop in the Philippines in October. As a Filipino-American, she expressed pride in performing there for the first time, calling it a milestone that meant “the world” to her. She partnered with Jhpiego, an international health nonprofit affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, to direct ticket proceeds from her Philippine concert to healthcare efforts for women and girls in the country.
The singer also launched her Fund 4 Good initiative at the start of the tour to support women-focused nonprofits and abortion funds along her route, saying the move was important in the wake of the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Rodrigo, who was Billboard’s Touring Artist of 2024, wants to support organizations providing access to healthcare and human rights in every territory she visits.
