People who have affairs often think they’ve done an excellent job of covering their tracks, but one expert is pointing out they’re not always as clever as they think they are. Cass, a private investigator from Australia, is sharing the details of what she calls one of her “wildest” cases involving a cheating husband and how she helped catch him in the act.
In a TikTok video, Cass explains that her client, the wife, was pretty sure her husband was up to something. She became suspicious after he started making frequent trips from their home in Queensland to New South Wales to visit his family, which he rarely did before. So, the wife checked their joint bank accounts and saw purchases from a hardware store chain, Bunnings, and a grocery store chain, Coles, but there were no specific locations attached to the transactions, so she couldn’t prove anything.
That’s when Cass suggested the wife check their joint supermarket rewards accounts. She did, and it showed purchases with the suburbs where the stores were located. It turns out, he was shopping in a suburb where his ex-girlfriend lives, nowhere near the family he was supposed to be visiting. The Aussie PI jokes that he got “$10 off shopping, but a veryyy expensive divorce.”
