Bethesda, Ohio, middle school student Bentley Barker is getting his lifelong wish of attending the Super Bowl thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Born with a rare congenital heart condition that has required multiple surgeries, Bentley was initially told he wouldn’t get his wish until next year, but then last week he was surprised with the news that his family would get to attend Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
He and his mom, Chelsea Barker, will attend the big game, while the rest of the family participates in various NFL events, including a private stadium tour, player meet-and-greet, and the NFL Honors Red Carpet Awards.
An avid football fan who plays basketball despite his health challenges, Bentley is especially excited about the Super Bowl Experience and the chance to see the Chiefs and Eagles in action.
