Meghan Markle is using her platform to help wildfire victims…and even made a teen’s day with a special gift from Billie Eilish. "
Let’s keep supporting those affected by the California wildfires," she wrote on Instagram.
In the heartfelt post, the Duchess of Sussex recalled meeting a 15-year-old girl in Altadena, California whose home had burned down and learning that all she wanted back was her T-shirt from Eilish’s recent concert.
"I don’t know Billie Eilish but I’m going to figure out how to get you this shirt," she promised, exhausting all of her celeb connections until a package arrived with clothes, a signed album, and a lunchbox from the singer.
"Huge thank you, Billie Eilish, this is going to mean so much to her," Markle said, also giving a shout-out to Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo who "helped get this over the line."
