Ashley St. Clair has sued Elon Musk for sole custody of their child. The author recently revealed their child to the world, claiming at the time that she had been forced to spend her pregnancy alone, sharing “I was completely isolated during my pregnancy…I was told not to tell anybody.”

In her filing, St. Clair alleges that Musk is the father of her child but has only met them three times and has had no involvement in his care. She is also seeking a paternity petition, and claims Musk acknowledged parentage in messages, including one where he said, “I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend.” Her lawyer stated that attempts to resolve the matter privately were unsuccessful, and Musk’s representatives have apparently been unresponsive.

The lawsuit follows a public plea from Musk’s ex-partner, Grimes, urging him to address their child’s “medical crisis.” The artist recently reached out to Musk on his social media site X, sharing that “he won't respond to texts call or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn't respond asap.”
