The Village of Mount Pleasant Police Department shared on social media that the boy called 911 after his mom ate his ice cream.
The boy started the call with “My mommy is being bad” and continued to repeat “Come get my mommy.”
The mother then got on the phone, after the boy demanded she get taken to jail, and explained “I ate his ice cream, so that’s probably why he’s calling 911.”
The day after the call, officers delivered ice cream to the boy, who then told them he didn’t want his mom to go to jail anymore.
