Demi Lovato is reportedly finishing up her ninth studio album.
A source spilled to “Rolling Stone” that the singer is leaning into the electronic sound that many of her hits have had in the past.
The new album is expected to be released later in the year.
“Over the past few years, Demi has found love, joy, and newfound confidence, making the choice to approach life with much more lightness and fun. She took this sentiment into the studio, which can be felt in every track on this celebratory dance-pop album,” the source tells Rolling Stone.”
Lovato has shared teasers of her upcoming single “Fast,” and wiped her social media, which many artists do these days to signal they’ve got something big coming.
