Ed Sheeran gave fans in Ireland a big shock when he popped up at The Sky And The Ground Pub in Wexford for a set during the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Festival.
The “Perfect” singer teamed up with folk band BIIRD for classic Irish tunes like “Wild Mountain Thyme” and even covered “Raglan Road.”
This Wexford show is just the latest in a string of surprise appearances as Sheeran gears up for his new album “Play,” out September 12th.
He’s popped up in Boston for St. Patrick’s Day, put on a show at London’s King’s Cross station, and he’s even appeared at Olivia Rodrigo’s show at Glastonbury.
