Ariana Grande shared a behind-the-scenes rehearsal video with Cynthia Erivo from over three years ago, showing the pair perfecting their performance of “Popular” for Wicked.
The clip, filmed in September 2022, captures them rehearsing choreography and timing under director Jon M. Chu’s guidance.
Grande, dressed in pink as Glinda, acts out a playful moment with Erivo during the scene, highlighting how carefully the cast and crew intensely prepared the film’s musical numbers...and had fun doing it.
The movie’s upcoming sequel, “Wicked: For Good,” will conclude the story when it hits theaters this November.
