Brad Arnold, the lead singer and founding member of the rock band 3 Doors Down, has died.
Arnold died on Saturday after a battle with cancer at the age of 47.
A representative for Arnold said he died peacefully in his sleep, surrounded buy his wife and family.
Arnold, the original drummer and vocalist of 3 Doors Down, helped build the band in 1996 in Escatawpa, Mississippi.
He was responsible for writing and producing the 2000 hit "Kryptonite," one of the group's most famous tracks.
