Pay It Forward For Pets - Cage

What’s more precious than a young puppy?

Cage is a true Heinz-57 mixed breed boy. We have no idea what his mix is, but we believe it’s immensely adorable! Check out his light green eyes.

Thought to be 3 months old, he weighs only 18 pounds. That’s a tiny little guy right now, and we have no clue how big he will grow.

This handsome pup is looking for a home of his own. We are grateful to the good Samaritan who saved Cage and brought him into Summit County Animal Control, and we’re thankful he didn’t face a negative fate while on the streets of Akron.

We’ve said it before, and we still believe: puppies can be a lot of work, but they are also oh-so worth it! It’s suggested to plan for up to 15 years of companionship when getting a pup. A steadfast, lifetime commitment should be an adopter’s first consideration. Dogs deserve safety, security, and a ton of LOVE.

Additionally, dog ownership isn’t cheap! Daily nutrition costs and annual vet visits add up. Providing monthly heartworm and flea preventatives means you can avoid even more costly diseases in the future. Plan accordingly, and you will be making one of the best investments of your lifetime!
