Pay It Forward For Pets - Juno

Meet Juno...

There is value in age. Think about the cherished heirlooms passed down through families or the beautiful antiques treasured from generation to generation. Let us also remember the priceless advice shared by our elders. These things may not hold value for everyone, but they are certainly treasured by some.

Juno is looking for someone to love and cherish her. She is believed to be 12 years old, a Chihuahua mixed-breed weighing about 11 pounds, and she is incredibly sweet. Since humans often want to know what’s in it for them when adopting a senior, let us share what it means:

Companionship comes quickly as seniors understand bonding. The personality you see is genuine. They are only interested in showing you who they are at this stage in their life. House training is usually complete and was achieved many years ago. Finally, senior dogs tend to be calmer and need less attention from their human.

Senior dogs, typically nine years old or older, do not deserve to live their days in shelter care. They are deserving of a loving and safe home where they can spend their remaining years peacefully.
