Two Tennessee High School Graduations Get Drenched

Heavy rain drenched graduation ceremonies that went viral at two Tennessee high schools last week, leaving some families frustrated that the events weren't moved indoors.

Williamson County Schools says forecasts showed the ceremonies could finish before the worst weather arrived, but conditions changed quickly as graduates crossed the stage on the football fields.

Some blasted the decision online, including former Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who called the situation "ridiculous."

Many parents and grads, though, had a different take, calling it memorable and the best graduation ever.

District leaders say despite the rain-soaked ceremonies, they're still proud of the Class of 2026 graduates.
