Good News: Young Paddle Boarders Save Swimmer In Walden Pond

A couple of kids saved a swimmer in distress in Concord, Massachusetts’ Walden Pond. Bodie Thompson, 11, and his new friend Herman, 9, were paddle boarding when they heard someone yelling for help and went to check it out.

The boys found the man, who got a leg cramp while swimming and could’ve drowned if they hadn’t been there to help, according to Concord Fire Captain Bill Noke. Bodie and Herman helped the man out of the water and got him to shore before firefighters arrived. “Well done boys!” firefighters posted on Twitter.
