Johnny Depp makes movie star money. And he spends it, too. In a new interview, Depp shot down rumors that he spent $30-thousand a month on wine. But apparently, the number is too low.
Referring to his ex-managers’ lawsuit against him - in which they alleged that his overspending included $30-grand a month on wine - Depp tells "Rolling Stone: “It’s insulting to say that I spent $30,000 on wine. Because it was far more.”
The Management Group (TMG) also claims that Depp blew $200-thousand PER MONTH on private planes, $150k on around-the-clock security, and $300-thousand a month to maintain a staff of 40 people. But that's not all...
They say Johnny has an $18-million yacht, blew $4-million on a failed record label and dropped $3-million to shoot Hunter S. Thompson’s ashes out of a cannon. He says no: “It was not $3-million to shoot Hunter into the f—king sky. It was $5-million.
For the grand total, Depp is estimated to spend $2-million per month. The costs include homes for his family members and 12 storage facilities for Hollywood memorabilia.
Not a bad gig if you can get it...?
