Mayor Horrigan Not Pleased With SCOTUS Union Decision

posted by Cap'n Tony | @RadioOnTheTony -

Akron Mayor Dan Horrigan isn't happy with the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in a major union case.

The court said yesterday people who work for the government, but aren't part of a union don't have to pay dues.

Horrigan released a statement saying he's a stalwart union supporter and that he's not pleased with the ruling.

He went on to praise unions for the benefits they've brought to America.

Tried a new coffee spot today. It's not hard to find good coffee in Akron! @compass_akron is an inspiring space to collaborate and get together for a meeting outside the office. Where are your favorite local places to grab a cup of coffee?
