Michael Brantley hit the go-ahead solo home run in the eighth inning as the Indians edged the Yankees 5-2 in Cleveland.

The Tribe added two insurance runs later in the eighth to secure the four-game series split.

Edwin Encarnacion hit a two-run homer in the fourth for Cleveland, which got seven frames of two-run ball from Trevor Bauer in a no-decision.

Carlos Carrasco earned the win and Cody Allen his 20th save.
