Chelsea Judd and her husband Steve spent seven years trying to conceive and after a failed IVF attempt, the Utah couple learned her eggs weren’t fertile enough. And that’s when her best friend, Tia Stokes, stepped up to offer help.
Tia has four kids of her own and offered to donate eggs to Chelsea so she could finally become a mom. Her eggs were fertilized by Steve’s sperm and implanted in Chelsea’s womb. And that generous gift brought baby Giselle into the world.
"For now, she's auntie Tia, but I'm so happy she will be able to understand and know who she is as she grows up," Chelsea says.
