An Iranian military commander says if President Trump starts a war, Iran will end it. General Qassem Soleimani made the comments during a speech in which he said that if the United States starts a war with Iran, the regime will "destroy all that you possess.”
Of course, Soleimani was responding to recent threats made by Mr. Trump via Twitter, in which promised “historic” suffering for Iran if it threatens the U.S. again. Trump himself was responding to an earlier warning from Iran's president not to threaten his country.
Either way, Soleimani says his forces are ready for any confrontation. "You will start this war, but we will be the ones to impose its end,” he offered. “Therefore, you have to be careful about insulting the Iranian people and the president of our republic. You know our power in the region and our capabilities in asymmetric war. We will act and we will work."
