Ohio State Football Coach, Urban Meyer, has released a statement, his fist since being placed on paid administrative leave while the school investigates what he knew about domestic violence allegations against former wide receivers coach Zach Smith.

Meyer said he did report the 2015 incident involving Zach Smith and his now ex-wife and that's he's always followed proper reporting protocols.

Meyer says he was not prepared to answer questions involving Smith at Big 10 Media Days and he apologized.

Meyer finished his statement by saying he's looking forward to rejoining the team.
