Indians Handle Blue Jays

Francisco Lindor had four hits, including two home runs, and drove in four to help the Indians beat the Blues Jays 9-4 in Toronto.  

Jason Kipnis chipped in with a three-run blast for the Tribe.  

Shane Bieber pitched into the seventh inning to earn the win in the opener of the four-game series. 

The Indians play the second of four games against the Blue Jays in Toronto tonight.  

Cleveland is 80-and-60, 16-and-a-half games ahead of the Twins for first in the AL Central.  

Carlos Carrasco takes the mound for the Indians opposite the Blue Jays' Marco Estrada.
